Most if not all Internet providers have a "fair use" policy which means if you've been logged on to the Internet for a long time during the day/night, they'll slow your speed right down at busy periods to allow others fair use. With this pandemic, more than usual are using the Internet. If you log off for 10 mins or more, you should be able to use it normally again.

The Internet is heavily overloaded these days from people who have to work or school from home.
