What time do the stimulus checks get deposited? ?

My Social Security check gets deposited at 4 AM . So maybe the same for these....

No one knows the answers to your questions.  The government is attempting to send out many millions of stimulus payments using very hastily constructed computer programs. That has resulted in many glitches.

There was a day in the early stages of electronic tax returns & direct deposit that the IRS only sent electronic payments on certain days of the week, and those occurred overnight.

But those days are LONG gone, the IRS now sends out money (tax refunds and stimulus payments) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Some banks won't process the transaction and show the money in your account until the next business day, but most of them update continuously as well.

No. It doesn't matter what time eit's sent, but what time your bank processes it, usually during the night.

they're sending them in batches sort of. The get my payment tab on the irs site is an estimate somewhat. Mine was scheduled one day but I didn't receive it until noon the next day. if something went wrong (you're account number isn't matching or something happen with your bank they default to a paper check. regardless irs is sending out a paper letter (in roughly 15 days after you were suppose to get the check as well which will give you answers on what to do if you still haven't received a stimulus by then
