Is smoking weed and getting drunk considered "normal adult behavior"?

Someone I know does both, and is known to, and is still talked about as if they are "responsible" and talked about in a respectable way. Is it truly "normal adult behavior?"

I'm 25 and never did either, and I am starting to feel like maybe it's not as "Bad" or "harmful" as I thought it was. Am I missing out on something?

No, that is not normal and will cause numerous problems later on in life. Imagine having to explain to your future kids that you used to drink and smoke weed excessively. That would make you a terrible role model. If you wouldn't want your kids to do it, don't do it.

Normal adult behaviour is clean up your own puke and other messes.

Abberant adult behaviour is ending with prison.

Your question is the question of a sick mind and nobody can answer it but you.

For most people, yes.  And the more that weed gets to be normal - the worse it will get.  Most of the population can't handle life without copious alcohol - becaw they is of sub-standard intelligence.

Trust me you're not missing anything. But as for whether this is "normal" behavior--well, it's not ABnormal. It's just not responsible or smart sometimes. By age 25 most people have done one or both and grow up without worrying about it or getting into trouble.

If you feel it would harm you--then it's simple--you don't DO it. Don't let the experiences of others guide your actions. You know what's best for you.

NO it's not normal behavior. It's pathetic behavior. Stay as you are and keep your brain in tact.

I mean I'd personally say you're missing out. But I smoke daily and drink occasionally. Both are really fun and I would recommend trying each at least once. If you like feeling good. Just be safe with the alcohol, it could end up making you feel terrible afterwards. Just gotta be careful with it and youll feel amazing

No, it's immature and irresponsible behavior.  I would guess that this person has a bad credit score, does not stick to a job and has social anxiety.
