why do people care who other people like ?

They believe their OT god isn't capable of sorting things out for his own self.

What other people will want to say on this issue will be determined by their religious beliefs.  As a Christian I believe the bible which states that God created one man for one woman for life.  He does not approve of sex before marriage, polygamy, adultery or homosexuality/lesbianism.  The bible makes that clear.   A Christian cannot impose their beliefs onto someone who is not a Christian but WE must be true to our faith and encourage others to live honourable, clean lives.  Just remember that 'liking' someone and desiring a 'sexual relationship' with them are 2 very different things.

If you choose a different way in your own life God will not stop you, though he might give you a conscience and be guiding you away from any mistakes.  If you ignore all that He will leave you to learn the hard way from your mistakes and your sinful nature.  If you decide to state that there is no God, no such thing as sin and all should be allowed to live just however they choose, He will allow you to do that and then you will reap what you sow - eventually.

Most people are naturally, primitively threatened by anyone or anything that is not like them. It's an ugly part of human nature, but then we're still primitives in many ways.

Most people ;lie inflicting their will on others. Guess it's a power trip. When it comes to friends and couples, I lean towards 2 requirements. First is consenting adults and second is free will. I'm a happily married 60+ yr. old as is my wife. Outside of holding hands we're fairly conservative on PDA's. Even when we dated neither one of us was all over the other. It just seems attention getting. We don't need anyone validation.
