Opinions create arguments. Without an opinion, there is no argument to create. My elderly neighbour has a boyfriend. I asked her when was her partner's birthday. She took offense at me calling him partner. She said he's my boyfriend (he was turning 70 soon). I say well he's not a boy and I prefer saying partner.

First I make a premise, argue the side of the argument that I personally believe, counter it with some potential good points from the other side of the argument, analyze and evaluate the merits of it, conclude with my opinion.
