A writer may only suggest there main idea without directly saying it . 

I need to know what does imply mean . I looked up the definition for imply which is “ to suggest something in a indirect  way . I also looked up the definition suggest which is suggest - to say something in a indirect way .but im confused because if imply means to suggest something In a indirect way what imply mean ? Like if someone says something an then another person says what do you mean . An then the first person says this is what I mean . What kind of mean are they talking about . They have like 8 def for this word 

I was looking up the definition (imply ) and it said it meant this . Imply - mean something without saying it . I don’t understand what they meant by mean something . This is also the example the gave “ he asked if I had any work to do . He was implying that I was lazy . When they say mean something what part are they referring to

How to make a point ? Do I just come up with an opinion ?an opinion is something I think , believe or feel . So does that mean point ?

Like if two words have no middle ground 

Like when we say what’s the opposite of blank what are we actually imagining or thinking of does opposite mean not ? Like if I say what’s the opposite of greedy am I saying what’s something that’s different from greedy ? If so then anything can be opposite . Please don’t give me a bunch of opposite examples I need to know the meaning .
