Whenever companies can afford a low-maintenance robot whose annual operating costs and maintenance are lower than that of salary, health-care, and liability for one human worker. I don't think that it will happen in the next 10-15 years, but after that? I am thinking...Cylons.

Depends on what kind of construction. They recently built a new bridge over the interstate highway here and they used a large robotic machine to perform the welding of the rebar.

Although robots can perform some menial tasks it is not likely that robots will replace humans on construction sites for the next 20+ years.  Robots are too expensive and too specialized for most non-repetitive tasks.
