We irradiate people and inject poison (Chemo) into them to fight cancer now, so the premise is valid and accepted - Trump wasn't talking about a particular disinfectant, he was talking offhand about a concept, and specifically through medical professionals "as something to look into". That said, if it suits someones purpose to misunderstand, no amount of clarification is possible, so I'm sure this explanation of what I heard and understood Trump saying will be blown off too..
