Why did the Packers draft Jordan Love?

Why? They could've drafted someone who would actually help the team instead of Rodgers' replacement

Because they need a QB and the Bengals already drafted Burrow.

Good question given the glaring weakness at WR. Apparently they felt that the depth of the class gave them the opportunity to get a WR later. However, they never took one and only took defense in the 5th and 7th rounds - not someone that could be a starter.

I understand the pick but we could have fixed the holes we have on dline.

we have had favre and rodgers with only 2 sb wins.

The defence has given up loads of points in play off games.

Fifteen years ago many people thought the same when they drafted Rodgers even though Favre appeared to have a few years left. Rodgers is now 36 and injury prone, so it’s not a bad move,

Maybe it was just to hard to pass up!While still good Rodgers has had injuries and when gone things were disastouras. They might feel Love could take over and do an adaquate job should this happen and yes maybe take over Rodgers job. This is the same situation Rodgers walked into years back

May be they are planning to replace Rodgers sooner than you think.

It was a wasted pick..Sure it worked for replacing Brett Farve, but times have changed..They needed a high impact player to make the them Super Bowl contenders NOW,while they still have one of the GOATs behind center.

This also looks like A.Rod will not finish his career as a Packer..He’ll probably change teams,LIKE BRETT FAVRE DID.🤣

    Minnesota,,get. ready to snatchUP A.Rod!

As long as they make an effort to shore up the defensive line thru the draft and free agency, then it wasn't a bad move.

He WILL help teh team. Rodgers won't be there forever and it's better to have someone ready. Remember the Steelers last year? Ben went down and they didn't have anyone ready to replace him. A decent QB and they probably beat another team and go to the playoffs. A GOOD QB and they maybe even win the wildcard game.
