    a. K (Potassium ) because it is a solid

    b. N (Nitrogen) does not have a definite shape because it is a gas and assumes the shape of the container it is held in .

    c. C (Carbon) because it is a solid.

    d. Ne (Neon) does not have a definite shape because it is a gas and assumes the shape of the container it is held in .

    Both potassium and carbon are solids at STP. Gases (N2 and Ne) don't have definite shapes. The standard form of carbon, though, is graphite which tends to be a powdery substance. Potassium, though, is a solid metal. So, I think the best answer would be: a. K.
