HIP HOP : Why is it that many fans call EASY-E a rap legend/goat and he can't even rap so well ?? 😒?

You know...from what I've seen, people who call Eazy a goat really haven't heard much rap. They are probably just hearing him for the first time and they are amazed because they are used to autotune and mainstream rap, so they think 'oh my God Eazy and Dre are such great rappers, much better than Lil Wayne Tyga and all that mainstream crap!', but they don't know that there are many rappers much better they just haven't heard yet because they're new to hip hop. Most people who know hip hop don't call him the goat, like I can think of this one guy who says Eazy is one of his favorites but still knows he ain't one of the goats.

As for the "legend" part it's because he was in NWA which many people see as legendary, but that word "legend" gets thrown around a lot.

It's not about the rap, it's about the message. And Easy E had lots of good messages in his songs.

Eazy E was the highest paid member in NWA. His face was plastered over everything in ‘88. Dude wasn’t all that lyrical and he took forever to record a single verse. 

 As far as realness goes, he wasn’t faking anything tho. He was really a drug dealer and a crip. Plus he had a ‘64. And if that ain’t enough, rumor has it he broke someone’s face open with a hammer.
