Can you tell me how I can more storage on my phone or something on my Samsung Galaxy S5?

I don't know why when I go on my Storage History on my phone it says I have 96.99KB Downloads when I deleted all my Downloads. And 5.46GB Miscellaneous Files when I deleted all my Miscellaneous Files. And it says I have 180KB Pictures when I deleted all my Pictures. I only had like 9 pictures and 2 videos anyway. I removed all my audio.

Why does my light purple, Miscellaneous bar freaking long?

How do I still have 2.506GB for my available space when I deleted almost everything, especially the Miscell?

    Reset the phone . I had this problem with my Xperia SP

    have you tried emptying the cache files
