The treat YOUR DOG likes.  All dogs don't like the same things.

the best treat for training is the one your dog will be excited to work for.

People are having a go at you, but what you need to do is make vegetarian dog treats yourself. I do think you should be giving them meat, but it is your dog after all.

You have a dog. Dogs are carnivorous & NEED MEAT!!!!!! Stop this stupid idea of veggies for a dogs diet. Dogs need MEAT. Carnivores eat meat, dogs are carnivores. If you can't treat your dog right, you should surrender the dog so it can have a proper life with MEAT.

None.  Vegetarian pet food is not healthy.  Cats and dogs NEED to eat a meat diet.

None dogs have pointed teeth thus are carnivorous unlike rabbits and Hamsters.  Otherwise he wouldnt catch and eat these really...... Would he?

He certainly dont dig up potatoes and eat them either....Though it would be far easier than coursing and catching a hare for his dinner for certain....eh

The best treat is the one that your dog thinks is a reward. For most dogs that would be cheese, liver, chicken, bits of hot dog..

Very few dogs are going to find a vegetarian treat rewarding enough for training purposes. Dogs arent vegetarian tho. They need a meat-based diet.

People like you should not be allowed dogs or cats. Just because you want to eat grass clippings does not mean they're GOOD for your poor dog. Find the dog a new home with someone who will actually love it and feed it properly or take it to a no kill shelter.

Raw carrots.   BUT why force your dog to have to follow your dietary preferences?   To me, that's cruel.
