Unfortunately, this current administration, from the top on down, is like 99% of Assmericans.  They lie, deceive, fabricate, stretch the truth, and in general are completely untrustworthy failures.

One of the other answers here stated it well, another answer must have been from a BitchyBitch (the one who said 'how odd' ).  To add a little more truth to the well-answered answer: MOST people are only going to realize the stimulus when they file their 2020 taxes next year.  It's an election year sham.  You're going to hurt and have hope and hurt some more.  The people who have gotten the stimulus payment also have received a letter, return addressed from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, telling them exactly who gave them the money.  If that isn't brilliant, I don't know what is.  I'm thinking that those who have received the $$$$ are those people identified as most likely to be on the fence for voting GOP in the fall.

they only way you would have gotten it by now is if you have direct deposit. there is nobody to call or write to, if you are waiting for a paper check it could take months. you can look up the status on their website https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

You would have to check with the IRS but it's going to be difficult getting hold of anyone.  It may just be delayed, I haven't seen anything saying that everyone who should have it will have gotten it by now.

    No one.

Are you under the impression that the IRS has made payments to 100% of the eligible people already?     How odd.

Some people aren't going to get theirs for months and some eligible people won't get the advance payment AT ALL.  Those who do not get the advance payment can take the tax credit when they file their 2020 tax return.

Trying to write or call someone about this would be like complaining that Santa hasn't come yet this year.    Well, it's true.   He hasn't come yet this year.  What's your point?   Telling someone ain't going to change a single thing.   You will get your tax credit sometime between now and when you file your 2020 tax return.  The end.
