When I turn them into orange wine, I LOVE THEM? That's the juice. :-) Its not often I eat actual oranges JJ.

Yes, but I prefer mandarins [aka clementines or satsumas]. I also like 'blood' or 'rubyred' oranges, which.; like their name implies have their flesh either completely red or a mixture of orange and red. These come from Italy, and are in season late winter and early spring, so I look out for them from the second half of January until the beginning of April. In Italy, they are often used for juicing, and if you visit that country whilst they are in season, many cafes etc will sell freshly squeezed juice.

Yes, larger the better, I find them most sweet. 🍊
