My answers are often dismissed.  Why?

I can see my answers when I use my account, but when I log out, I can't see my answers.

It often happens for some reason.  I have no idea why.  Does anyone know why?

Update:

For example, I posted an answer on this question.

/question/index?qid=20200...

I can see my answer, but you can't, can you?  What's happening?

It is a glitch normally fixed by just editing your answer. That will clear it. It seems to be more associated with answers added from a phone. If there was a link, remove it, add the answer, the edit to add the link.

It's probably to save money for Yahoo/Verizon.it takes power, .emory space and bandwidth to maintain the YA display on devices that are not logged in. Yahoo. Verizon and Verizon Media are publicly owned businesses to make money for investors and stockholders. Verizon has an enormous energy bill.it is all about making profit. Yahoo s stockholders can and did revolt in September 2014 after losing money for more than. 10 years. That.might and can happen at Verizon.

Edit: No, I do not see your answer. I am not sure why, but I.am on a new cell phone for less than 24 hoursj. Your answer is in Yahoo Verizon's digital database. Just because it isn't displayed to everyone could have one or more tech

no al reasons. I know my technical knowledge is outdated.

Oh. Was your answer anonymous? This may be glitch, either a new one or an old eternal glitch. YA is infamous for its eternal glitches.

The spam filter sometimes catches posts (mobile and desktop devices alike). It's an ongoing bug in the system, for years now. For questions, moving the question to another category, waiting a few seconds, and moving it back where it belongs, usually causes it to become visible. If that doesn't work, try adding an update.

It happens to answers sometimes too. If that happens to you, do some editing to your answer, it will probably show up (sometimes it won't). Sometimes an answer will post and be visible but you edit it, and that causes it to disappear (further editing usually fixes it). This has been going on for quite a while now, and is very annoying. Users often don't realize their posts aren't being seen by others. It happens to me a lot, if I edit a post or try include certain links.

  • How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.
  • Your answer has been blocked by a spam filter.  This happens a lot here and happens to me just today.  Sometimes it is caused when you use a link.  What you have to do is remove the link and re-write your answer.  Then go sign in and look to see if it post.  If not you have to try again.  Sometimes I am successful while other times I can not get it to change.  It a glitch that I don't even think Verizon Media knows about.  It has been going on for a long time here.

It's a common error. You should refresh your answers and maybe it will show up.
