Yes. The President's term of office ends in January of the year following the November election. A President who is not re-elected is considered to be a "lame duck" during the period between the election and the end of his term.

Yes. The term of an elected President runs until noon on January 20th after the year when he is elected by Electoral College in December (after the popular election in November)
The President is still President while he is running for re-election. And he remains in office for a short period after the election so that there is time to make a peaceful and complete transition between the two administrations.

The current President stays in office until the next President’s inauguration on January 21st 2025.
