What's the difference between love and infatuation?

Well it depends, if you feel like there is a little bit more of a special connection. If you feel he knows you on a very personal level or you know him on a very personal level. Do you find yourself constantly thinking about him, or do you find yourself paying more attention when he's with you? If you find yourself taking the time to remember certain things about him or he does with you, that could be a factor as well. Do you feel like you can confide to him about things where you don't feel comfortable talking about with your other friends maybe more your family? If you know these answers then it could be love. But remember if it is truly love then you'd know for sure. That doesn't mean that you can't be together however.

 If you just met some guy and thought it was love, you would be wrong, for that is what infatuation or a crush is. Since you've known this guy for a year, I think its safe to say you are in love.
