Are level 7 users on Yahooanswers moderators?

Lv. 7 users use to have some more power such as relocating questions to more appropriate sections but that feature was removed.
All levels are now the same as far as features. Anyone can report a question or answer to the site moderators.

No.............all users here have the same "moderating" power.......
which is simply hitting the report flag icon, and sending a report.
That's the extent of anyone's powers here.
Having said that...........those with MULTIPLE accounts, obviously have MULTIPLE report powers.......meaning they can report One answer..........5, 10, 50 times...........depending how many sock puppets they operate here.
Eventually, they will hit the magic number, and someone's post...........violation or NOT..........will drop. .....since the algorithm will register X amount of reports, meaning it "must" be a violation and automatically delete it.
If you catch it........you can appeal.........but Yahoo doesn't send violation notices anymore...............so, half the time, you won't even know.

Yes, as are Level 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 users. The site is Community Moderated and every user here has the ability to report violations (which is all CM really consists of). No level of user has more clout to get a post removed than any other level, although IF (we do not know) user Trust Rating is still in effect, a user would need to have been on the site a while to have built up a very high TR.

There are no moderators on Yahoo Answers which is why it has become such a cesspool of trolls and abusive anonymous individuals. It seems all they care about is the ad revenue that they receive.

No. Level 7 users often used to be "Trusted Users" who had a bit more influence on this site. I would report a question for racism, homophobia etc seconds after it was posted and it would immediately be deleted but that hasn't been happening now for 3-4 years.
