They use (and have used since the 1960s, if not earlier) frozen burgers.  That's why all McDonald's patties are the same size and shape.

You can tell by if they aren't currently serving any burgers then they are fresh like why we had Chicken on Wendy's because most of their places serve fresh burgers which they can't get now so are temporally off the menu

I really doubt their burgers are fresh. When I ate meat Wendy's always seemed fresher

EVERYWHERE sells frozen burgers. they are in demand because people get fast food a lot. they are not going to have beef just sitting out or in the fridge for mass quantities of people. they need to freeze some of it. and even just to transport it to the fast food places? has to be frozen. just the truth.

The Quarter Pounder with Cheese is supposed to be fresh and everything else is frozen.

    Neither. McDonalds sells cooked burgers.

Their burgers are frozen, but just to preserve the patties.
