What size boxing gloves should I get?

Hey guys I am a 25 year old guy 138 lbs 5'11" and I'm joining a boxing gym after this pandemic and I've read so many conflicting things online about what oz size of gloves I should get. Some places say i need a 16oz to do sparring but some size charts say that my weight and height should only be 14oz. The gym I'm going to has sparring every quarterly so I want to make sure I'm prepared for the classes and the sparring. So what size should I get?
