Recipes for fully-cooked (frozen) shrimp?

I'm not a good cook but I bought a bag of fully cooked frozen shrimp to add to stuff like stir-frys etc. Turns out even warming it a little bit makes it tough and chewy so I'm trying to figure out what else I can make with it.

Can I use it cold with anything? Looking for lunch/dinner ideas, besides shrimp cocktail.

I buy those all the time.  Sometimes I'll even pay extra for the tails-off option.

I like to smear them in butter with lots of garlic and toast them on the grill quickly.  It's fast and easy, and who doesn't like grilled food on a stick.

You can also get some nice cheap ramen noodles and cook them up, with or without broth, and voila... instant shrimp lo mein.

Shrimp also goes good with any pasta dish you can think of.  If it involves any kind of noodles / sauce / cheese, it works with shrimp.

You can cook it in with rice and whatever flavor you like a sauce or in fried rice. You can put it in a regular green salad.

    Fried Rice.

Boil Bullion water on the stove, take away from the stove and add instant rice and egg, then pop in your shrimp.

You can add peas if you want while the water is boiling.

My wife announced today that she was making a shrimp salad with cooked frozen cooked shrimp. I imagine it will include a mayo/mustard dressing, celery and probably hard-boiled egg. We generally defrost the shrimp in the fridge overnight, or under running water. We have used these same shrimp in Campbell's skillet Scampi Simmer sauce, and it came out great.

    Shrimp salad.

Flash fried in a tempura batter.

Served with a tasty dip [ for a buffet perhaps? ].

On open sandwiches on top of cream cheese.

Wrap them in bacon and thread on a kebab to be griddled?.

Run cold water over the shrimp just before cooking and cook it Fast, like in a stir fry.

I buy precooked frozen shrimp a lot.  I thaw them out in the fridge and toss them into salads, drop one into my bloody mary shots, fresh spring rolls and of course shrimp cocktails.

If you're gonna stir-fry, best to get the frozen raw shrimp.

you can use it cold in pasta shrimp salads, scattered on your salad, a last minute addition to any jambalaya recipe. Chop a bit, add diced peppers, onions, celery and mayo for shrimp poor boy sandwiches.

You can make a shrimp salad. I make rice paper rolls with them, but you probably don't want anything that elaborate. There are plenty of cold dishes- just make a little sauce to go over them. A remoulade is good (just a dressed-up mayonnaise).

I'd just let them fully thaw and add them to a pasta with sauce. Let the pasta warm them for a few minutes. They should be fine.
