Try one with a moisturizer and it will help your skin. Dove actually works and \I findI use less lotion specially if you livre in a drier climate.

Do NOT use it in your anal-genital area. Use only mild, unscented soap, like Ivory, there, and don't put anything inside your vagina -- not even the mild soap.

You are switching from one soap to another, why would that be unsafe? Bar soap leaves a film and never feels clean, body wash does.  Go for it.
