what's something you wish you knew when you were 20?

That one is not old at 20, this is truly the beginning of great things.

I don't know or care, I just turned 27 years old 1 week ago, I'm in my late 20s now.

I kinda knew something like that, that everyone has done all the same stuff and you're not really breaking the mold, especially not at 20 although your thoughts on black people getting shot, or whatever the topic of the day is does feel like a religious revelation at that age you need to tell the world. But I never put it into as many words as said above.

that being a success or failure isn't defined by setting a life goal and fulfilling it.  yes, it's good to work towards a goal, and yes, commitment is a good thing.  but, life is regularly and solidly going to knock you on your butt.  it's going to push you off course, and odds are, you aren't going to wind up where you thought you would.  but, that doesn't mean you are a failure.  heck, you may wind up somewhere better than you planned.  it's how you ride it out.

Everything I know now. 

I wish I knew that worrying about anything doesn't help anything....it's a waste of time and energy.
