a mentor is the one who teaches an apprentice/novice on the job or in life

someone you learn from, usually real skills not book skills

while things can be learned from books by a mentor it is a NOT a degree but real knowledge

but a mentor can teach you real skills and stuff you may not appreciate as usable skills but are building blocks of real base in life

I will say for example.... MOST PEOPLE I mentors cannot properly sweep a floor

most people will whine when told to sweep and how to sweep... the pattern and organization in proper floor sweeping is very much a ORIGINATION mindset that can be used in all ways, from bookkeeping to warehouse management

if you are too lazy to sweep, you are not a good person to hire and will never be able to move up.

this is mentor teaching ,,,, a good apprentice does not whine or question but moves on with enthusiasm
