Why are people so comfortable eating and ordering fast food during the pandemic?

It’s supposed to be safe even not during a pandemic. And since the virus hit, I’m sure they’ve all upped their sanitary conditions. When you go to the drive through, they all have masks, gloves and hand sanitizer near by. Im sure the cooks are also wearing masks and gloves and are washing their hands more than usual. I think everyone is eating out, not because they’re comfortable about it, but because they’re so sick of being at home at making dinner every single night, eating out is the only time they feel they get an outing. We’re supposed to trust the people handling our food on a regular basis, so I’m choosing to continue to give them that trust.
