Not really. I read a book (non-fiction) about early wagon trains trying to get across America. The train was getting desperate for water, food (eating the oxen when they starved to death). A couple scouts went out to look for a better route and water. Some of their notes said they were eating anything they could kill, Owls, hawks, lizards etc were fine to eat but crows they said were all but inedible - they understood the term eating crow a lot better after that experience.

Only if you are desperate -- not much real meat on them, despite their size. But, yes, you can cook and eat them, although they do tend to be wormy as well.

Yes, but there is very little meat on them.
