Dream Interpretation: I'm married. I dreamed that I fell in love with another man. I was planning on getting a divorce... ?

The dream starts with a man with light blonde hair. He didn't have a name in the dream, but I will call him Carlos. Carlos makes a lot of money from nefarious activities and lives out of a hotel. I started seeing Carlos during a period when my husband "Steve" was not communicating with me earlier in our marriage (Steve was actually distant during our early years of marriage in real life.)  Carlos and I grew close and made love in the water.  Steve was being a good husband at this point, but I blamed Steve for my affair.  If Steve had been a better husband earlier, I would not have had the affair with Carlos in the first place.  I made up my mind to divorce Steve and marry Carlos.  Just as I was going to break the news to Steve, the police burst into the hotel room and arrest Carlos. I quickly thought "never mind" about Carlos and decided to commit myself to Steve.  In real life, I would never do such a thing.  What does it all mean?
