Do you think they will open schools in the fall?

I am in technical school and I am taking culinary arts.I have decided to take classes online because if they open in August I feel like it’s not safe yet because we are still having to many rising cases in Georgia and other states as well plus with the rioting.I don’t think traditional school may or may not work because it can take one person to infect the virus in the whole school. The government wants to but I just feel like it’s to soon.

Well, first, it's not "rioting" in Georgia. There have been mostly peaceful protests. If people contract COVID at them (outdoor transmission is very rare), it will show up in the next two weeks, long before classes start.

Second, there's no "they". Individual colleges are making that decision. You need to watch for notifications from your school. Many will try to open if transmissions go down, as they have been in Georgia. Check this data from Johns-Hopkins. Georgia is pale pink- in better shape than other states. Also, young adults are not at much risk from COVID unless you have underlying health conditions. I don't quite see how you're going to do culinary arts online, but if your school offers online classes, you should take them.
