    When: Nisan 14

"Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed" (1 Corinthians 5: 7)

The biblical method for determining the date of the celebration of the memory of the death of Jesus Christ is the same as that of the Passover of the Bible. Nisan 14 (Biblical calendar month), the fourteenth day starting from the new moon (being the first day of the month of Nisan): "In the first month, on the 14th day of the month, in the evening, you are to eat unleavened bread until the 21st day of the month, in the evening" (Exodus 12:18). The "evening" corresponds to the beginning of the day of nisan 14. In the Bible, the day begins after sunset, the "evening" ("And there was evening and there was morning, a first day" (Genesis 1: 5)).

Jesus never existed so you will have to pretend.

The Sacrament of the Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday and at every weekday Liturgy -- mass, for Catholics.

@ lillie -- The celebration of the Eucharist is a God-made doctrine, Jesus having instructed the apostles to remember him that way.

"so too was the commemoration of Christs death." -- Christians don't commemorate Christ's death.  We celebrate his glorious resurrection at Pascha.

According to Luke and Paul, when instituting the Memorial of his death Jesus said: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” Lu 22:19; 1Co 11:24

From this it is reasonable to understand that Jesus meant that his followers should celebrate the Lord’s Evening Meal annually, not more often.

The Passover, observed in remembrance of Jehovah’s deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage in 1513 B.C.E., was commemorated only once a year, on the anniversary date of Nisan 14.

The Memorial, also an anniversary, would appropriately be held only on Nisan 14.

Communion, whenever we gather as Christians.

1 Corinthians 11:25 KJV — After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
