POLL: what’s your opinion on people who cut some of their relatives out of their lives?

It's unfortunately essential sometimes.  We can choose our friends, but not our relatives.  I never start the fire that burns the bridge.  However, when I see myself being treated like a darkie, I'm not going to be the one who pays for the necessary shoe polish on my face.  From then, they know my name: they can look up the number.      

I always imagine there's a damn good reason for it. 

It's up to them. Sometimes it's necessary.

I don't see my Uncle Chris - he gives me the creeps.

Maybe the relatives cut them out first, if not maybe because the relatives are toxic
