How do I find out how fast my internet speed is?

The videos that I watch take forever to load. They load and run and load and run. I got some good advice that my internet speed my be too slow... but how do I find out? And how can I make the internet speed faster? Thank you.

    call your isp and ask rated speeds down and up.

    pay them more for more speed.

    speedtest.net and fast.com are pretty good websites to use. Ideally, you want to run speed tests with a wired device, not Wi-Fi. Compare your speed results against what you pay for.
