Will getting fired go on your permanent record?
I feel I'm on thin ice at work and I'm scared of getting fired. I've had about 15-20 offenses and complaints against me. I got written up with all the offenses on it. My boss also does not like me. Will getting fired go on my background check and permanent record?
Also, what are the chances of getting another job with the COVID happening?

It will go on your permanent record but it will not show up in a background check. How can we know your chances of getting a job during covid? Are you an essential or a restaurant worker or airline pilot or a minimum wage worker at Burger King? What do you do - are those places now open or closed? You have been given many more chances than most people. Be prepared.

People have a criminal record on file with the police department and getting fired will not be on a criminal record but beyond that there is no "permanent file". If you are fired, the only way for prospective employers to know anything about that is if you list that company as a past employer on a job application and the prospective employer calls them. So don't list that company as a previous employer.

it sounds like to need to get your act together, with 15-20 offences and complaints, I can see why your boss would not like you. If you get fired it goes into your personnel file for that company. A background check looks into criminal history and in some cases your credit history. A new employer would call to inquire about your time there, but due to litigation, most employers will only state the dates you started and left and what your job title was. As far as COVID, some places are hiring and others are not. Chances are you aren't going to do any better anywhere else unless you smarten up.

There is no "permanent record". The company will keep records of when you worked there and what your job was and why you were fired. As a rule if another company calls to check on you they will not be told that your were fired or why. But they can be told if you are allowed to be rehired.

The company will keep a record of it and future employers may call as part of a background check and ask.

There is no such thing as a "permanent record".
Your past employers can only tell potential employers that you did work there, when you worked there and what your duties were.
There are a lot of companies hiring right now.
