Why is aunt jamima and uncle bens and Eskimo pie changing their names and brand logos?

While i can sympathize with the sentiment of those wanting to make changes as a knee jerk reaction to recent protests about racism and police excessive force complaints, they shouldn't change them because they think it will make everything all better, because it won't.  What are they gonna change them to.  Aunt ivankas pancake mix, uncle dons rice, mr. erics pancake syrup.  Have no opinion about the eskimo pies.  Hate ice cream.

Because sometimes brands do a slight revamp. It can be because the company was bought, or they just want to be taken more seriously. Like what Disney and Animal Planet did.
