Poll: my gf wants me to buy her a MacBook Pro because I make good money at work. But I wanna save up for a house. We’ve had only been dating?

for like 8 weeks. 

She doesn’t work and that’s the thing that kills it for me. She collects govt checks and spends it on herself but I go work all day and she just watches TV in my apartment and constantly invites her co-worker Greg. She says she’ll go back to work when the quarantine is done.

Update:

Like I’m willing to buy her a used laptop and put up no more than $1000 . But she refused. She wants a new one.

She wants to be a YouTube influencer.
