An example is Mapudungun (Araucanian; Chile), which has a Direct case and an Oblique case.

The Obdorsk dialect of Khanty (Uralic; western Siberia) has a Direct case, a Locative case and a Translative case.

On the contrary, the only modern languages I know of which HAVE a case system are German, Romanian, and Greek.

Modern Romance languages don't have a genitive case anymore. In fact, they don't have a case system anymore.

There must be. Have you any idea how many languages are known of today? Hundreds. Not just the dozen or so that most people on here have heard of, but dozens and dozens more that most of us will NEVER hear of at all.
