Why can’t people see that MSM promotes hatred and racism?

Probably because they are not as smart as you and believe everything they read or hear.

Most people know it, they just can't not look. It's the train wreck effect. 

The MSM reports news. Fox News promotes racism when they try to make it seems like BLM is a radical, violent movement and that Antifa is a superpowerful group. BLM has led thousands of marches, 99.99% of them peaceful. The violence has been rare and not by people endorsed by BLM. Antifa is small group of people who are tough, but don't have a history of civil disobedience, but not violence.

WHY? Because once-upon-a-time we could trust news media to give us the facts. But soon after news became a 24 hour a day thing - RATINGS mattered. And now ratings matter far more than telling the truth. But why can't people see that? Because it's human to want to believe that people are being honest with us. And MSM is very good at making themselves seem credible. 

I think it does whatever it can to distract people from bigger things.
