Do gas stations hire people with misdemeanors like ( hit & run )?

Please someone let me know :)

It would be up to the individual company if they do or do not hire people with such character flaws, but most only worry about felonies.

That's up to the discretion of the gas station.

If it happened recently and/or the person was a mature adult when it happened, the conviction is likely to hold more weight.

If it happened when the person was 19 and they are now 45 with no convictions since then, not likely to be much of a problem.

Context is everything and you gave none.

P.S.   Hit and run is a particularly egregious crime to some people.   Even if the hit was an accident, the run wasn't.  It shows a propensity towards dishonesty in order to avoid responsibility.   Not exactly the kind of employee people dream of.
