I really need help with getting the right bike. Which kind should get? ?

I ride in NYC and though I ride mostly on the road I can't really ride in my local park. It hurts so bad all the time. Being in my theighs, legs, and seat injures me. I got a company (UnYousual) city type bike and it is hard to do anything. Like even peddling without becoming tired instantly. Even whike riding on 3 speed. It is a 6speed bike though. You see the reason why I brought it, is to get an affordable bike. I was new to bikes. A year ago and this is why I didn't choose right. I'm 5'1 and I want a bike that I can do normal things like going to my local shops and going on the trails of my local park without problems. None. They are all a menace.

Another reason you might be getting tired so easily...your saddle (seat) is too low!  You need to have a good amount of leg extension to get power & also avoid cramps and fatigue.  On the bottom of the pedal stroke, your leg should only have a slight bend in the knee.  Balls of the feet should be centered on the pedals.  Another one to read from the late Sheldon Brown.  https://www.sheldonbrown.com/saddles.html#height

    1) Why did you feel the need to repeat everything? 2) You claim it's an "affordable bike". Wrong description. If you bought the folding bike on the following link (or any bike from that company), you bought a CHEAP @SS BIKE. https://www.amazon.com/IDS-unYOUsual-Folding-Light... There's a difference between 'affordable' and 'cheap'. Cheap means inferior - lacking in quality - below standard. Pick one...good or cheap. You can't have both.

    3) Please learn the difference between PEDALING and peddling, as you spelled it. Peddling is to sell an idea, product or service. A door-to-door salesperson might 'peddle' magazine subscriptions.  An infomercial on TV peddles cheap junk.

    4) So you're in 3rd gear & become tired. So DOWNSHIFT into a lower (easier) gear! Besides...it's only a 6 speed bike. Not a lot to choose from. Read all about gears & how to use them on the following link... https://www.sheldonbrown.com/gears.html It's all about one word..."CADENCE". What's your pedal rpm? Yes, a lower gear means you'll pedal more. It also means you'll pedal EASIER & most likely farther.

    5) DON'T buy a bike from the internet or eBay or Craigslist. You want a good, long lasting bike? Then go to a real BICYCLE SHOP. There must be tons of them in NYC. Look what I came up with for Brooklyn alone. https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=OpIFX73...

    6) You choose the right bike by TEST RIDING a few. Yes, you can do that at a bike shop. Doesn't cost a dime. Here's one I suggest you at least go look at it. It comes in three FRAME SIZES for ladies ranging in height from 5 feet tall up to 6 feet tall. http://www.fujibike.com/usa/bikes/pavement/fitness...
