There were 5 "wizards" sent to oversee Middle Earth: Saruman the White, Gandalf the Grey, Radagast the Brown, and two blue ones who are nameless. Sarumon was the chief of them, but when he betrayed everything to side with Sauron, he gave up his place. Gandalf replaced him after he defeated the Balrog. You should check the books out of a library.

Radagast the Brown was more interested in animals and life in the forests.

Oh, it's on its own line. Yes, it is. Brown is specifically for those Wizards who are not of, shall we say, good character. Perhaps they smoke too much pipeweed, for instance, or maybe they like the company of loose Dwarf love-renegades. Take Radagast the Brown, for example. Please. Just joking. He had a fondness for woodland animals. Yes, life wasn't always rosy in Middle Earth, y' know.
