People have reported flying objects since before it was possible for us to create something like that. Not to mention reports of things coming down from the sky (god? aliens?) and working "miracles". Think about the pyramids? lol

No idea.  But it's definitely possible.

No.  I do believe there is life out there but I don't think it's ever been here.  The chances of an intelligent alien species existing in the same point in history as us AND being close enough to make the interstellar travel feasible are very small.

before science fiction became popular people used to claim they saw elves, pixies, fairies and ghosts.  Now those same types of people claim they encountered aliens.  Where did all the elves, pixies, fairies and ghosts go?
