Do i have to pay Portland ART TAX.?

There website says that if i make less then 1,000 dollars then i don't have to pay art tax. I just received the art tax papers but couple days ago my company gave me little bit more hours so now i make little bit more then $1000. The hole 2019 and 2020 year to last week i wasn't making over $1000. Just last week my company gave me little bit more hours. Do i still have to pay the Portland art tax.

If between 1-1-2019 and 12-31-2019 you made 1,000 or more you will pay the arts tax for 2019 in 2020. If not, you do not you do not pay the 2019 tax in 2020.

If between 1-1-2020 and 12-31-2020 you make 1,000 or more you will pay the arts tax for 2020 in 2021. If not you do not you do not pay the 2020 tax in 2021

Assuming you don’t otherwise fall below the property line or qualify for one of the limited exemptions.

2019 and 2020 are separate years for summing up income and paying taxes, etc. The ENTIRE year of 2019 ( as in, WHOLE) .... otherwise, I know nothing about the art tax.

If you live with someone making over federal poverty level, yes, you have to pay it. If you do not, you have to file for an exemption. https://www.portlandoregon.gov/revenue/article/422...
