I am going through t his and have been told NO (twice)
I had some eaves troughing done and the guy was nice enough to put a ton of caulking along the underside of the edge of the roof on that corner. As it turns out that is NOT where my water problem is coming from. (But that answers your question, they wont do it after the roof is shingled)
