I've had this happen with a few friends and a family member. Most of the time the second mammogram is found normal. The other time they did a biopsy which often showed calcium deposits and not cancer. It's normal to freak out and I pray everything is ok.

What, so you think you're the only person on the planet that has ever had this happen? Think again.

Yes - women have had this happen before. The "spots" usually turn out to be just cysts.

Don't automatically assume cancer. It could be ANYTHING, from a fatty mass (lipomas) to a cyst to fibroadenomas. The vast majority are simply masses and cysts, and thankfully, benign. My mom gets a few lipomas every few years and she just gets them removed and sucked out (gross, I know) and all better.

Now, are you saying surface spots, like ones you see, or lumps IN the breast? Sorry, your post was confusing, but I'm going to assume you mean lumps IN your breast. Boobs are weird. Because I am my mother's daughter, I get some lumps here and there and they just go away, so I'm assuming when I get older, I'll have her lipomas problem, too.

Yes, sometimes it is just the way the image was taken or it could be something as simple as  a cyst.  You are going to be freaking out until you get the final ok. but you should know that this happens to many of us and nothing is wrong,  If it is something, then it was caught very very early.
