Wired Ethernet Connection alternative?

I have 2 computers (1 for office use - downstairs & 1 for gaming use - located on the other side of my house).  Is there another way of getting a wired connection other than running a very long Ethernet cable from my AT&T Modem Router to my gaming pc to play online shooters?

Running cables is just not an option for me right now.

you can use wifi with it, but keep in mind that a wired connection will always be more reliable.

There are 2.  One is power line adapter, it uses the power circuit to create a network.  The latest ones do both wired and also wireless.

I find it to be sufficient for browsing, but make sure you can return it because the speed varies.  Also, the electric outlets you use must be on the same phase/circuit breaker.

The second is MOCA.  This is if you have an existing coax connection, it rides over coax on a different frequency than most cable setups.

    Homeplug.

Put one unit near your router and link it to that with a short cable, then put others where you need Ethernet outlets. They pass data via the house wiring rather than WiFi.

Be sure to get ones rated above a gigabit, for full speed equivalent to ethernet.

    eg.
