If an employee works in Stockton, CA but the employer is in Los Angeles, do they have to pay the L.A. minimum wage?

 The check stub does not show the Stockton address, only the L.A.

    Yes, all employers in Los Angels are obligated to follow the local minimum wage laws which covers all employees, regardless of their residence address. That is, however, over a 5 hour commute...!
