29 gallon: Any biotope stocking suggestions?
Preferably freshwater. Any biotope is welcome.

If you have a large fish store near you, go there and just take a look around. They will probably have several biotope environments set up, and take away some ideas for your own.
The biggest problem you may run into is including fish that will nip at any live plants, thus fouling the water more quickly.
