What would the consequences be if a lawyer had been caught seeing a sex worker? Also what could happen if he slept with a client?

Ok so hypothetical situation for a project of mine. Say a lawyer had been a frequent customer of a sex worker. What could happen if that was found out? AND say this same lawyer defended this sex worker, pro bono,

for a violent crime. And what if, after he started defending her, they slept together (without paying her)? What could the repercussions be if any of that was found out?

    1 - It depends on where.  This has happened in the City where I live.  He was charged with one count of soliciting, and the Bar took no action against him;

    2 - Yes, attorneys have sex with clients.

    Is this another book you are writing?  There is no connection between having sex with a client (I trust you don't mean "sleeping") and representing that person in Court.  The problem happens when you have sex with your opponent (the other party).

    There would be no repercussions UNLESS the attorney paid the client (pro bono or otherwise) for sex.  Then, again, it's soliciting for sex.

    A lawyer and a prostitute?  Happens all the time.   A lawyer and a client.  Happens all of the time.  Often as a form of payment, usually payment made prior to legal services.   So frequent that the attorney wants money instead of sex.   No one complains because your attorney can have you put in jail.  Now, not all lawyers are like that, but there are some that are.  Find the old movie "Body Heat" and view it.  You would enjoy it.
