Any clue to my dizziness and nausea?

About six months ago, I woke up one morning feeling very disoriented and nauseous out of the blue. Sometimes I call it dizziness, but it's more of a "float" and "spaced out" feeling than a spinning. At times, my vision changes and is less or more sensitive to light. The symptoms typically last 24 hours a day, but normally begin to settle down by evening. If I take a warm or hot shower, the dizziness normally returns. Popping my ears and lying down sometimes lessens the disorientation, but sitting back up makes them return. An ENT performed maneuvers on me to check for vertigo, but I did not respond the way that would confirm that. She checked my ears and said there was some fluid in both ears, but it should go away. I've been given some prescription nasal sprays, which do help lessen the symptoms, but at times I get these returning temporary spells. I asked her if it was labrynthitis, otitis media, or something else, but she said she didn't know. I was just wondering if anyone else had this too and found out what it was for them. Since the beginning all this, the symptoms have reduced, but are still present and noticeable. I don't have a stopped up nose or itchy eyes.

Update:

There are at times when I swallow random ear popping and other times I feel my hearing changes with ringing in the ears.

Vertigo usually caused by an inner ear inflammation. Your update confirms it.
