I am a trained chef and cook. Sadly, my restaurant closed down due to the pandemic.
I spoke with the owner, and I rented the place. I hired the kitchen staff to make meals for people who are in isolation / self-isolation. One of the waiters takes orders by phone and keeps the books. the other waiters handle deliveries.
Turns out that the idea is really popular; so much so that it was not worth it to reopen the dining area of the place. All of the staff have been earning about 10-15% more than before, and we are looking for additional staff right now. I will be taking a salary starting August 1.

Nope. I work for a ware house and they are essential workers.
My hours are a bit shorter then before covid, but we're still working and no one has gotten sick from covid 19. We're practicing physical distancing and washing our hands regularly. So far I've felt safe enough not to have to wear a mask at my workplace.
I'm doing pretty good. My company gave every one that's been there over a year a 75 cent raise, when covid hit my area in March 24th (4 days before my birthday they instituted the locked down). I also got my reviews done, which gave me another 52 cent raise. I'm making $17.43 and hr.
Things are slowly getting better in my area, there's only about 100 new cases of covid a day.

Nope. Retired before. Still retired. I wish I got $600 a week for not working. I probably could have by lying to the government. Did not need it that bad.

No. Fortunately, I work as a grocery store cashier. However, working conditions are awful now. Masks, social distancing, cleaning, cranky management as well as customers. The list goes on. However, I'm happy to still be employed.
